Remember when I went to Shanghai for Carven? Above is a visual recap of the event!
First on the agenda was dinner at the beautiful and intimate Capo with the whole Carven team and its Creative Director, Guillaume Henry, and the whole Bluebell team with their CEO, Henri Sebaoun.
Next night was the show at The Waterhouse, where they had young skater boys in Carven logo-ed sweaters (made me want one so badly after that!) skating up and down the ramps to introduce the Spring/Summer 2014 collections. The men's collection came out first and, I have to say, I absolutely loved the transition between the men's and women's shows! Flowers were hung up above the skate ramp/runway as the 'ceiling' to the runway and after the last men's look walked off, the flowers were all released and dropped from above. A beat later, the first women's look walked out.
After the finale, the Burning Peacocks played against a video backdrop. And of course, to end the night, we all partied on until...
One last note, because the people at Carven and Bluebell are so sweet, they wanted to also offer all my readers a 10% discount on top of all merchandise (even items on sale) at their Moon Street store (remember to quote 'Tina Loves Carven'), plus a chance to win a bottle of their delish perfume! Email me at info@tinaleung.com with the right answer and the first 5 correct answers will each win a bottle for Christmas! Whatcha waiting for??
