The quintessential little black dress is an item of clothing that, I will go as far to say, is universally agreed upon to be a must in every girl's wardrobe. When all else fails or when you just don't have the time to think or prepare for that special evening event, a beautiful little black dress is all you really need. Don't you agree?
And who better than the French to turn to for that? Case in point, the iconic little black dress Audrey Hepburn wore for her opening scene in Breakfast at Tiffany's was designed by Hubert de Givenchy. It is as timeless now as it was then...
So I was more than delighted to be asked by Paule Ka to choose some of my favorite little black dresses from their Spring/Summer 2014 and Prefall 2014 collections to style up and be photographed in for their World Wise Woman column. Just in time as well to coincide with their Essential Accessories of the Little Black Dress exhibition held at Elements for Le French May in partnership with the French Consulate.
I hope you like the pieces I chose above and the slight Asian spin I put to it! Larger photos plus an interview Paule Ka did with me is up now on their World Wise Woman Tumblr page. Take a look now and tell me what you think!
Have a wonderful week ahead!!
