June Proust: Serge Cajfinger

SergeCajfingerYou favourite fabric – Ottoman

Your favourite colour – It rather depends! I’m thinking sky blue today, but it may be an entirely different shade tomorrow.

The collection you will never forget – Yves Saint Laurent’s ‘Ballets Russes’ collection.

The style you most dislike – Low-rise pants worn with platforms and a thong… Bra straps on show.

Your favourite fashion photographers – Richard Avedon and Steven Meisel.

Your favourite model – Brazilian supermodel Raquel Zimmermann.

Your shoe/shoe designer fetish – I don’t really have one… I often find myself wearing Prada shoes.

Your jewel/jewelry designer fetish – Jar

Your favourite fashion accessory – A fine gold watch.

Your ideal bag – The Paule Ka ‘Panier’ bag.

The most creative designer – Miuccia Prada.

The most timeless designer – Paule Ka, of course!

Your favourite decade in fashion – The 60’s.

Your historical muse or icon – My all-time icons are Jackie O’, Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn.

The “look” you prefer for a man – A tuxedo.

The “look” you prefer for a woman – A little black Paule Ka dress in the evening. A pair of jeans worn with a sky blue man’s shirt in the daytime. I admire women who work with contrast.

The fashion faux pas you can tolerate least – Accessory overkill.

What is your present state of mind? Elegant, elegant, elegant…

Your fashion motto – Don’t overdo it, try to strike a balance. Easy on the make-up, easy on the jewelry. Never overdressed, but always chic!
